“In April of 2015 I Googled ‘Orange County / Huntington Beach / personal trainer’ and Luke Rangel was the first one that came up.

I read his information and I responded to him of possible interest. After some back-and-forth emails and texts he offered a free training session for us to meet up in person and we’d go from there.  Well, our free session went well enough and I signed up with him for a roughly 90-day package he worked up for me.  I was at 250 lbs., VERY OUT OF SHAPE, and in need of MAJOR HELP AND ENCOURAGEMENT to make the changes to my personal lifestyle that I needed and wanted to make.  Along the way Luke and I decided a good goal-weight for me would be 210 lbs.

Well…fast forward to October 2015, I’m 213 lbs. (3 lbs. from goal in only 6 months) 13% fat (down from nearly 20%!!!), have a new physical and nutritional lifestyle that has helped me achieve that transformation and led me to a much more fulfilled and enjoyable lifestyle. 

Luke and I did that both by a physical regime (1 hour workouts twice or 3x a week), using some free weights, a lot of agility routines (which i’m HORRIBLE at it, and Luke has a good sense of humor…..very necessary), some resistance training…..he plans it all out and directs it, I just sweat my way through it. In my case, from so much time of inactivity, I also needed a lot of stretching effort and direction.

Luke also designed an entire nutritional plan for me as well, high protein, low fat, structured supplements…changed my whole body makeup, set me up with daily dietary goals and plans from morning ingestion to meal planning. NOT OVERLY STRICT, yet very achievable if YOU want to really follow it and make the changes you will enjoy later.

Luke is a great trainer and life coach, he’s very personable, very enthusiastic, and very supportive…yet, realistic enough to know that HE CAN’T DO IT FOR YOU, he can only help direct you through it and trust me…he will enjoy your results as much as you do!!!”
